Nestled in the charming countryside of Liguerre de Ara, El Balcon Del Ara is a rustic haven just a scenic 25-minute drive from the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. The warm hospitality of the family who owns the property truly made our stay exceptional. Alberto, the son, welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm, ensuring we felt at home amidst the stunning mountain views.The shared kitchen facilities were impressively well-maintained, giving each guest ample personal space with their own table, refrigerator, and utensils. The cozy bedroom with comfortable beds provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the nearby hiking trails. The option to have our own kitchenette in some units was a convenient touch for those wanting to prepare their own meals. The property also boasted a garden with BBQ facilities, perfect for unwinding under the starlit skies. The free WiFi area ensured we could stay connected while enjoying the tranquility of the mountains. The proximity to the ski resorts of Panticosa and Formigal added an extra layer of adventure to our trip. I left feeling rejuvenated and already looking forward to returning to this hidden gem in the Spanish countryside.
